Purpose

CanSAGE is pleased to announce the CanSAGE Early Career Investigator (ECI) Grant 2026-2028. The grant is for gynecologic research, targeted to early-career clinician-investigators.

Target Area

The Early Career Investigators Grant is targeted to the field of gynecology, with a focus on medical management and pathophysiology of endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Candidate Selection

The CanSAGE research selection committee will select the recipient of the grant.
Notification will be sent to the grant recipient in September 2026.
Funding will be disseminated in October 2026.

Funding

One grant of $25,000 CAD will be awarded for 2026–2028. The funding must be used to complete research, and cannot be used for capital costs or educational program development.

Research Completion

Recipients have 2 years to complete the project, with a presentation at the CanSAGE 2028 Annual Meeting. Upon completion, recipients must provide a written report to the CanSAGE Board and present their findings at the Annual Meeting.
