Daniele Zama, MD, PhD, is a Senior Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Bologna and a physician at the IRCCS AOU Policlinico di S. Orsola, specializing in general pediatrics, infectious diseases, and expertise in gut and airway microbiota evaluation in pediatric diseases.
Dr. Zama is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and seven book chapters, with a Scopus H-index of 27. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences and serves as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Pediatrics and Children, as well as a reviewer for leading pediatric journals. He holds national scientific habilitation for both Associate and Full Professor in Pediatrics.
