Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses the privacy practices for Trialect Incorporation (“Trialect”) applicable to your use of the website (www.TRIALECT.com) (the “Site” or “Sites”) and the services provided by Trialect (“Services”). Trialect is committed to the privacy of personal information. We will collect information about you in connection with your use of the Site, and information may be shared by you and others during use of the Site.

We will collect information that is personally identifiable to you (“Personal Information”), such as your contact information and other information that is not used or intended to be used to personally identify an individual (“Anonymous Information”). This Privacy Policy describes how we will use information we collect, and your responsibilities related to privacy during your use of the Site. Our Site. Trialect provides a platform (“Trial Platform”) for physicians and industry to promote participation in clinical trials (singularly “Trial”) worldwide. Trials generally involve testing of a drug, device or other forms of intervention to assess safety and efficacy. The Trial Platform facilitates communication, interaction, and exchange of various types of documents between users involved or interested in a Trial or any other project. The Trial Platform not only connects the Trial investigators with industry, but also promotes patient participation in Trials by promoting collaboration between physicians in a local area. A “Network” is created by a group of members working on a common theme or project to collaborate on the Trial Platform. Some of these Networks are created by Trialect, each called “Trialect Network.” A physician who is already in a Network can invite other participating investigators or referral physicians to join the Network. In addition, a physician may create a Network for his own project or a clinical trial and invite members to his or her Network as “users” or as participants.

Companies that upgrade to a Trialect Corporate Network may take administrative control of that network (including data and activity which was posted prior to the upgrade of the network to a Trialect Corporate Network), which can be in the form of contributing to the data, monitoring activities of the users, responding to questions that are relevant to clinical study management, trial operations, clinical development or biostatistics, etc. In addition, they may choose to implement security or privacy policies that align with this Privacy Policy. With respect to a Trialect Network, references to “you” or “your” in this Privacy Policy refer to the individual users of the Services. With respect to Trialect Corporate Networks, references to “you” or “your” in this Privacy Policy refer to the organization that is our customer, typically a corporate company or clinical trial sponsor, such as biopharmaceutical, medical device, etc. Individual users of Trialect Corporate Networks should direct privacy‑related inquiries to the organization that provides them access to the Services.

The Site content, such as text, graphics, images, information obtained from Trialect’s licensors, users, employees and other material contained in the Site (“Content”) is for informational and educational purposes only. You are not permitted to advise, diagnose, or otherwise treat PATIENTS OF OTHER users of this Site. NEITHER THE CONTENT NOR ANY OTHER SERVICE OFFERED BY OR THROUGH THIS SITE IS INTENDED TO BE FOR MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS OR TREATMENT AND DOES NOT SERVE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR OWN MEDICAL JUDGMENT.
