The AMP Technologist Travel Award provides travel assistance to the Annual Meeting & Expo for multiple selected AMP member technologists who do not receive travel support from their institutions.

The applicant must be an AMP technologist member who works in the clinical molecular diagnostics field as a technologist. "Technologist" can include clinical or R&D technologists/assistants.
Applicants may not receive funding for travel and/or registration to the Annual Meeting & Expo from their institution (communication from the lab director required).
Authorship on an abstract is preferred but not required.
Winners of the award in the previous three (3) years are not eligible.
Applicant must agree to attend the Business/Awards Session at the Annual Meeting & Expo in order to accept the award personally.
Applicant must agree to submit a 250-word report to AMP within a month of the conclusion of the 2025 AMP Annual Meeting & Expo summarizing their experiences and what they learned by attending the meeting.
