The mission of the Arthritis Foundation’s RA research program is to reduce RA incidence, slow disease progression and improve patient outcomes. This RFP supports research designed to better understand and predict:
Conversion from pre-RA to clinical RA
• Disease progression
• Pathogenic mechanisms
• Biomarker development
• Therapeutic personalization strategies
• Treatment response and safety
We are seeking innovative, hypothesis-driven proposals that advance the understanding and prediction of RA development and progression and improve therapeutic approaches.
Award Mechanisms:
• Pilot Research Award: Up to 2 years; up to $150,000 total (inclusive of 8%indirect costs)
• Large Research Award: Up to 3 years; up to $450,000 total (inclusive of 8%indirect costs)
