Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits based and operating within Colorado
Priority is given to organizations serving underserved counties outside Metro Denver, including Alamosa, Baca, Bent, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Huerfano, Las Animas, Otero, Pueblo, and Saguache
2. 📅 Program Areas Aligned to Grant Cycles
Three grant cycles per year, each focused on a specific theme:
Jan–Mar: Education
Apr–Jun: Human Services
Jul–Sep: Health
You must apply during the window matching your project’s primary service area
3. 💸 Grant Size & Focus
Typical grants range between US $10,000 and $20,000, with total annual giving around $250K–$300K
The Trust does not fund general operating costs, capital projects, endowments, or national/international organizations
Projects should be program- or project-based, with tangible, measurable outcomes for Colorado communities.
4. 📝 One Application per Calendar Year
Nonprofit organizations may submit only one application in each annual cycle
If funded in one year, you must wait one year before reapplying.
