ISSX Fellowship for Minority Scientists within the North American Region

International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics

Details: This fellowship is to be awarded to early-career scientists studying xenobiotics who are from racial and ethnic groups (Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander) that have been shown by the National Science Foundation to be underrepresented in health-related sciences on a national basis.
 

The fellowship award will include:

  • Complimentary registration for the 2026 North American ISSX Meeting
  • A travel stipend for hotel and travel to the 2026 North American ISSX Meeting
  • A speaking opportunity at the 2026 North American ISSX Meeting (short presentation of 15 minutes to present research)
  • Complimentary membership in ISSX for the years 2026, 2027, and 2028 
  • Complimentary access to all webinars, workshops, short courses, and meetings available in the ISSX Learning Center
  • An honorarium in the amount of $1,500
