The International Collaborative Research Grant supports medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals aspiring to partner internationally to conduct a scientific research project in radiologic technology. Our goal is to enhance the profession’s body of knowledge and promote international research collaboration.
A researcher must identify and collaborate with an international researcher to complete a research project within a maximum time frame of two years. One researcher, identified as the principal investigator, must be an ASRT member from the U.S. Either a U.S.-based researcher or an international researcher may submit the initial application, but they must be paired with a research partner at the time of the full proposal submission. If you are having trouble finding a research partner, please contact Foundation@asrt.org and we can take steps to help you connect internationally.
In addition to the research study, the research findings will be submitted for publication in the peer-reviewed journals of both researchers’ institutions and submitted for presentation at their annual conferences. Funding up to $50,000 will be awarded for each approved research project.
