NC Collaboratory -- High-priority topics in opioid remediation and prevention

The NC Collaboratory is requesting proposals from faculty at universities in North Carolina to study high-priority topics in opioid remediation and prevention affecting communities throughout the State. Priority will be given to projects that focus on one or more of the following topic areas:

Local Program Access, Implementation, and Impacts
Justice-Involved Populations and Carceral Care
Technical Surveillance and Emerging Synthetics

Eligibility Requirements

Any institution of higher education within North Carolina is eligible to apply. Any individual with the resources, training, relevant terminal degree, and knowledge required to carry out the proposed activities may serve as principal investigator in accordance with their institutional policies. There is no limit to the number of applications that may be submitted from any institution or individual. Proposals may include partners from outside of North Carolina and from institutions other than universities (e.g., research firms, independent consultants), so long as proposals include strong justification for such partnerships.
