Baltes Distinguished Research Achievement Award

APA Div. 20: Adult Development and Aging

The Baltes Distinguished Research Achievement Award recognizes distinguished careers and outstanding contributions to the psychological science of aging. The recipient will be presented with a cash award of $5,000 at the annual APA convention in the year in which the award was made. The recipient will deliver the Baltes DRA Award Address at the convention the following year.

How to Apply

Nomination materials should be uploaded through the Division 20 Awards Submission website.

The nomination materials will include the following:

A letter of nomination (by a Division 20 member) describing the nominee's nature and significance of the nominee's research accomplishments.
A current CV on the nominee.
At least two additional letters of support (one must be from a Division 20 member).

Nominees will be reviewed by a committee of past-presidents, as well as past and present members of the Division 20 Executive Committee.
