Applicants must meet the following criteria for the CDA for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research:
If there are questions regarding eligibility associated with previous and current grants received, applicants are encouraged to send an email to grants@conquer.org for clarification.
There are no citizenship or geographic requirements. However, by submitting an application, an applicant applying from an institution located in a country in which they are not a citizen or a permanent resident assures that the visa status will provide sufficient time to complete the project and grant term at the institution from which they applied.
The Conquer Cancer Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research Subcommittee reserves the right to evaluate and determine applicants' eligibility based on the information and justifications included in the application materials. Applicants who are uncertain about their eligibility are encouraged to refer to the Eligibility section in this FAQ or contact grants@conquer.org for clarification and provide their CV for evaluation.
Conquer Cancer has a separate CDA competition for all other disease areas and topics, open to all eligible applicants. Please review the CDA page before starting an application. An applicant may only submit one application for a Career Development Award.
Individuals may concurrently apply for other BCRF-sponsored grants with other funding agencies; however, applicants are expected to accept the first grant they are awarded. Individuals may not hold more than one BCRF-sponsored grant simultaneously.
