Title 1st Annual Cutaneous Cancer Immunology Young Investigators Forum

Brief Description

This Forum is a unique educational opportunity designed for Canadian and US-based young investigators, including fellows and junior faculty, who are conducting clinical or basic science research related to cutaneous cancer immunology. The Forum is supported by an independent educational grant from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. The Forum will take place in Orlando, FL at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek on February 27–March 1, 2020.

The purpose of this Forum is to assemble senior faculty with fellows and junior faculty who share interests in cutaneous cancer immunology. Dermatology, Hematology, Immunology, Oncology and Pathology junior faculty and fellows are invited to submit an abstract of their research (clinical, basic science, or translational) to a panel of recognized expert faculty for assessment. The top 30 abstracts will be accepted, and these investigators will be invited to attend the Forum to present their research in full for further review and comment by the expert faculty and other young investigators. Additional group discussions on career development, mentorship strategies, developing independent research programs, and related topics are also planned.
